WebWe had the governor off our 154 Cub Lo-Boy. The governor and linkages are pretty tight. We replaced the Bumper spring, governor gasket and rebuilt the carb. It idles down to about 500 rpm but on high idle, when I pull on the governor rod to increase the rpm it comes back instantly ( no surges). Is the bumper spring too tight? Thanks!!
